マシュハド（Mashhad）はシーア派の聖廟都市のひとつ。テヘランの東、約850kmに位置する。
聖都マシュハドには毎年1200万人以上の観光客と巡礼が訪れ、多くは8代イマーム・リダー廟（通称ハラム）を訪れる。
Mashhad is the second most populous city in Iran.The city is well known and respected for
housing the tomb of Imam Reza,the eighth Shia Imam. Every year millions of pilgrims visit the Imam Reza shrine and pay their tributes to Imam Reza.
